Officer Reports
President:
- EZAA ECOM has been meeting assisting the chapter on endowment efforts and starting planning on the 80th.
Vice President:
- Planning underway for 80th reunion in April 2027. Working with the alumni house on confirmation and next steps. The Alumni house assisted the EZAA with the 75th Anniversary.
Secretary-Treasurer:
- No change in chapter funds. Nowotony award plaque is blocked due to inability to manufacture the parts like the torch, further investigation will be needed. Money has already been allocated from the EZAA to created these new plaques it is just a matter of finding a way to make them.
Extension Chair:
- Mailchimp email list over 400 and will get new list of graduating brothers from the chapter to keep them in the loop as they transition to alumni.
Member at Large:
- New website is up and running, domains have been transferred to the same cloudflare account as the chapter’s domain.
Chapter Updates:

- Overnighter will occur at Camp Jewell again
- 6th Annual RPI Service Day completed with 120 participants and 575 service hours complete over 9 events
- Hosted an alumni service event at Prospect Park to clean trash
- Nowotny Application has been submitted
- The chapter has recruited 14 new members
- Semiformal is being planned for early December with the theme Holidays
- Brotherhood games has continued to be successful in the chapter
- Finances are on track with treasury meeting with Maria at Institute Advancement to continue work on the endowment
- All the BBLB pairings have been made, pictures can be found in the presentation
- First thrift sale raised $518 with half of the funds donated to the local library
- New website is running for the chapter and working well
- The chapter is planning logistics around the Nationals Pep Rally in Albany and the National Convention
- New composite photos will be taken soon
- Armory is in good condition with plans to restart an inventory list

President was the only position with more than one nominee. All others were approved by acclamation.

80th Reunion Planning
- Date has been selected waiting for alumni house to pay deposit to confirm ballroom reservation. From there there are plans to share a save the date and ask for volunteer support on committees.
- Meetings have been occurring regularly with the 80th chairs; Ken Bienstock and Rafael Cenzano on the EZAA side, Steven Pereira and Bea Luers on the Chapter side.
- Brainstorming for event ideas and things to do over the whole weekend have been discussed.
- Plans for a variety of service events to allow everyone to participate and have an impact on causes/organizations they connect with.
- More to come once date and details are confirmed.
Alumni Donations/Endowment
- Endowment fundraising is going well, the chapter is 32% of the way towards the funds required to start the endowment through RPI.
- Alumni have helped a lot in the fundraising and the chapter with Institute Advancement have plans to continue raising funds and seeking large donations to start the fund.
National Convention
- Discussion on high costs, $300+ for registration, 120/night for hotel, food, and transportation required.
- Alumni discuss intention to try to support the actives who are planning to attend.
- The chapter has a fundraiser planned to raise funds.
- The chapter will get a confirmed list of actives attending to the EZAA ECOM to be able to plan how to support the actives.

- Additional information provided on high amounts of legislation and the need for committees, delegates, and alumni volunteers.
- The chapter and region put forward delegates to vote on the legislative floor.
- A handful of alumni present already plan to attend.
- APO at Ualbany is hosting an event as a pep rally to prepare for the National convention, EZ brothers plan to attend to prepare.
